At Auswide Corp, we believe that building strong, safe communities goes beyond the work we do on construction sites. We are incredibly proud of the partnerships we’ve developed with charitable organizations, allowing us to give back and make a positive impact.
In 2021, we renewed our commitment to MATES in Construction as a Silver Tier 2 partner, continuing our work to raise awareness for safety on construction sites. We’ve also proudly teamed up with Patrizia Cassaniti and the Touched by Christopher Foundation, amplifying safety messages that are close to our hearts.
Additionally, our support extends to being Gold partners of the Biaggio Signorelli Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for cancer research.
We are always looking for more opportunities to contribute to charitable causes that align with our values. If you know of a cause or organization we could support, we’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to reach out through our contact form below.

At Auswide Corp, we are proud to support MATES in Construction, a charity that has been making a life-saving impact on the Australian construction industry since 2008. MATES was founded to address the alarmingly high rates of suicide among construction workers, and their approach is truly unique. They believe that mental health is everyone’s responsibility and that preventing suicide isn’t just the job of professionals; it’s something we all need to take part in.
The MATES in Construction program empowers everyone in the industry to look out for each other. Through community-based programs on job sites, they provide vital suicide prevention education, along with case management and a 24/7 helpline for workers who need support. Their message is simple but powerful: “Suicide is everyone’s business.”
In June 2021, MATES' work was recognized globally by the World Health Organization as a model of effective suicide prevention in the workplace. This recognition is a testament to the incredible impact the organization has made and reinforces why we at Auswide Corp are so proud to be affiliated with them.
The Biaggio Signorelli Foundation was established to honor the legacy of Biaggio Signorelli, the visionary founder of the Doltone House Group. Biaggio was an inspiring figure, an Italian migrant who arrived in Australia in the mid-1950s and went on to achieve remarkable success in his new home. But in October 2007, his world changed when he was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, a deadly cancer caused by asbestos exposure. He passed away just eight months later.
Before his death, Biaggio made a heartfelt request to his family—to help others affected by this devastating illness. This wish became the driving force behind the foundation, which is dedicated to the early detection, treatment, care, and ultimately finding a cure for Mesothelioma. The Signorelli family's commitment to fulfilling Biaggio’s final wish continues to inspire hope and support for countless individuals and families impacted by this disease.
The Touched by Christopher Foundation was created in memory of Christopher Cassaniti, who tragically lost his life in a scaffolding collapse at a job site in Macquarie Park, Sydney, in 2019. His passing deeply affected the community, and his parents, Robert and Patrizia Cassaniti, were overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of emotional and financial support during their unimaginable grief.
In response, the Cassaniti family established Touched by Christopher with a heartfelt mission: to help ease the financial burden on families who, like them, have lost loved ones in the construction industry. The foundation provides immediate financial assistance—within a week of the tragedy—covering essential expenses such as groceries and utilities. This support not only helps to ease the financial strain but also offers comfort during a time when families need it most.
At Auswide Corp, we proudly support Touched by Christopher by providing an annual donation and raising awareness through the application of their stickers on our Safe-T-Rail handrails. Our first installation was at the Beyond development in Hurstville with Piety Group. We remain committed to spreading this important message and supporting this cause across construction sites throughout Sydney and beyond.
